DCvsSRH: Iyer and Pant partnership helped Delhi to chase the target
Shreyas Iyer and captain Rishabh Pant put together a powerful partnership in the middle as Delhi Capitals registered an easy 8-wicket win over Sunrisers Hyderabad in Dubai.
Khaleel Ahmed took the wicket of Prithvi Shaw early in DC chase. Shikhar Dhawan got out on 42 after Rashid Khan broke the partnership between him and Shreyas Iyer. Earlier, An all-round bowling performance from the Delhi Capitals restricted the Sunrisers Hyderabad to 134 for 9. Rabada and Anrich Nortje were the most impressive ones for DC. David Warner was dismissed for a duck in the first over by Nortje and then Rabada sent back Wriddhiman Saha after Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss and opted to bat first against Delhi Capitals in match no. 33 of Indian Premier League in Dubai today. Axar Patel and Rabada got two more wickets as SRH lost Kane Williamson and Manish Pandey. Nortje then returned to remove Kedar Jadhav and Axar got his second in the form of Jason Holder. Rabada then ended Adbul Samad’s cameo to pick up his third.
