Anushka Sharma pays tribute to Yash Chopra on his birthday: You will always have a special place in our hearts.

On the occasion of his 89th birthday, Yash Chopra, a pioneer in the Hindi film romance genre, is remembered. The iconic filmmaker-producer has left an indelible mark on Indian cinema with films such as Waqt, Deewar, Chandni, Silsila, Kabhie Kabhie, Trishul, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, and many others. Anushka Sharma has written a touching message to the iconic Bollywood filmmaker on the occasion of his birth anniversary.

Anushka posted on her Instagram account, ” “Remembering the legacy of Yash Ji today. You will always be in our hearts.”  The actress made her debut in the film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, which was produced by Yash Chopra. Following that, Anushka worked with the director on Jab Tak Hai Jaan. Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif also starred in the movie. In her note, Anushka remembered the famous filmmaker and his legacy. She expressed emotions in her post by sharing a rare picture of the late Yash Chopra.
