How to make Ambala Paneer Sandwich | Chef Ajay Chopra
Paneer is loved among Punjabis in almost any form, so here’s a sandwich loaded with masaledar paneer.

Ingredients
1. Bread slices – 8
2. Cottage cheese (paneer) – 100 gms
3. Salt to taste
4. Butter as required
5. Mint chutney – 4 tbsp
6. Cheese slices – 4
7. Chaat masala – 2 tsp
8. Red chili powder – 2 tsp
9. Ginger, chopped – 1 tsp
10. Green chilies, chopped – 1 tsp
11. Lettuce leaves a few
Method
1. Slice the cottage cheese into 4 thin slices and place on a plate.
2. Sprinkle some salt over them and set them aside for a few minutes.
3. Butter each bread slice and spread ½ tbsp mint chutney on each of them.
4. Place a cheese slice and a cottage slice on 4 slices.
5. Sprinkle some chaat masala, red chili powder, ginger, and green chilies on top of a cottage cheese slice.
6. Top each sandwich with one of the remaining bread slices.
7. Spread some butter on the top side of the sandwiches.
8. Heat a non-stick grill pan, brush some butter on it, place the sandwiches, 2 at a time, and grill on low heat, turning sides, till both sides are evenly golden.
9. To make the salad, chop some lettuce leave and put into a bowl.
10. Add some mint chutney and toss well.
11. Serve the sandwich along with the salad.
