The latest Korean serial drama release, ‘Squid Games,’ appears to be a big hit on the internet, and it’s also a big hit with the Indian public.

However, as the Squid Game craze continues, Indians have begun recalling the 2013 release Table no. 21, which they have discovered to be very similar to Squid Game.

According to Pinkvilla, the makers of the Rajeev Khandelwal and Paresh Rawal starrer Table No. 21 have chosen to make a sequel due to the similarities between the two shows and how much the audience enjoys it.

“For some reason, I found it a touch predictable at times and found the premise to be fairly similar to Table No. 21,” netizens said, striking parallels between the two. “SquidGame reminds me of the excellent Bollywood movie #tableno21,” another said.

Table No.21, directed by Viki Rajani and starring Paresh Rawal, Rajeev Khandelwal, and Tina Desai, was released in 2013.
