Ashwin Shares What His Daughter Told Him After He Wore the Indian T20 World Cup Jersey
Ravichandran Ashwin shared an amusing chat with his daughter on social media ahead of India’s 2021 ICC T20 World Cup campaign. The 15-member Indian squad for the showpiece T20 event in the UAE and Oman includes Ashwin, who last played for India in a limited-overs international in 2017. The T20 World Cup began on October 17 and will end on November 14 with the final. On October 24, India will open their campaign against arch-rival Pakistan in Dubai.
Ashwin revealed his daughter’s delight when he wore the India kit ahead of the competition on Instagram.
“When your daughter says ‘I have never seen you in this jersey appa’ can’t leave her out of the picture. Can you? @prithinarayanan,” Ashwin captioned a photo tagging his wife Prithi Narayanan on Instagram.
