BRAVO’S ALL ROUND PERFORMANCE TURNED THE GAME FOR CSK
Bravo contributed in Chennai’s win by playing a cameo of 23 runs from just eight balls, including three massive sixes. Bravo came to bat when CSK score was 105 for 5 in 16.4 over, but without wasting too much time in the middle he took the charge and played a very important knock to help CSK cross the score of 150.
While bowling he took three wickets and did one runout of Krunal Pandya. This was Bravo’s 100th game for the franchise .In post match presentation he also appreciates Gaekwad’s innings. He said,
“Gaikwad has been our star player (at the) end of last season and this season (first phase). He is a quality player, played proper shots and played till the end. He has an appetite for runs and it was good to get over the line (in) this game,” he added. While asking for his performance he told “Just tried to protect myself in the last stages of CPL and when I came over here, just had one bowling session which was yesterday. Happy to get four overs through today. Now I bat lower down the order with the batting line-up like CSK. For me, it’s just about trying to get the momentum and try to capitalize, adjust and adapt.”
