Check Out the Indian Nominees for the 2021 International Emmy Awards!
The nominations for the International Emmy Awards 2021 were revealed on September 23rd.
Apart from countless international nominations, the three Indian nominees on this year’s list were grounds for excitement!
1. AARYA
Aarya, which is available on Disney+ Hotstar, has been nominated for an Emmy in the Drama Series category. Sushmita Sen plays the lead in Aarya. Sushmita revealed the happy news on Instagram, and we can’t wait to hear more!
Aarya Sareen (Sushmita Sen) is a mother and a wife who is apparently clueless of her husband’s criminal business. After Aarya’s husband Tej Sareen (Chandrachur Singh), a pharma baron, is inexplicably killed, things go terribly for their family.
2. VIR DAS – FOR INDIA
Vir Das: For India, Vir’s Netflix comedy special, has been nominated for an Emmy in the Comedy category. Vir, who was overjoyed, came to Instagram to spread the news!
3. NAWAZUDDIN SIDDIQUE
For his portrayal in Serious Men, a 2020 film based on Manu Joseph’s novel of the same name, Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been nominated in the Best Performance By An Actor category.
