Check out who the heroine is in Farhan Akhtar’s new film ‘Pukar’

Farhan Akhtar’s next collaboration will be with Ashutosh Gowariker.

Excel Entertainment will produce this forthcoming action film titled “Pukar,” with Farhan’s father Javed Akhtar writing the screenplay.

According to the Peeping Moon source, Farhan would play a forest guard in Pukar. According to reports, the project will address forest preservation challenges.

“Rakul Preet Singh has been enlisted to portray the female lead in this film,” says the director. “She’ll start shooting for it following Ronnie Screwvala’s Chhatriwali, which is set to hit the screens soon,” a source told the portal.

Jagapathi Babu, a veteran South Indian actor, will play the villain in Pukar. According to reports, the film will begin filming in Mumbai in December.
