Mitchell Starc dismisses Kusal Perera  with a sensational yorker

Mitchell Starc bowled an outstanding spell against Sri Lanka in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2021 in Dubai on Thursday, demonstrating why he is one of the most feared T20 bowlers in the world. Starc bowled a nasty toe-crusher on the third ball of the 11th over, disturbing the stumps of the dangerous-looking Kusal Perera. Sri Lanka was in a good position at 86/2 when Starc hit an inch-perfect yorker to get his team back into the game.

Starc ended with figures of 2/27 in his full quota of four overs, allowing the batsmen little breathing room.

Sri Lanka was eventually reduced to 154/6 in their 20 overs, with to Adam Zampa’s outstanding bowling performance of 2/12 in four overs.

With openers David Warner and Aaron Finch scoring 70 runs for the first wicket in seven overs, the Australian batting line-up lived up to the promise.

Australia won their second game in a row bypassing the finishing line in 17 overs and with seven wickets to spare.
