Yuvraj Singh scripted history to become the first-ever batsman to hit six consecutive sixes in an over in a T20I match in the first-ever T20 World Cup. It was in the 19th over of India’s innings, when Yuvraj took Broad to the cleaners, hitting him for 6 sixes in all corners of the ground to take India’s total over the 200-run mark. Batting first, Yuvraj came into the crease when Robin Uthappa was dismissed and he capitalized from the very start. He reached his half-century in just 12 balls and there were fireworks on display that day. After all these years,Indian fans still remember and celebrate this special moment of their favorite cricketer.It was so special for Indian fans because India eventually went on became World T20 champions when they defeated arch-rivals Pakistan in a thrilling final on September 24 in Johannesburg.
