Puneeth Rajkumar, a Kannada celebrity, died of heart attack at the age of 46

Puneeth Rajkumar, the Kannada film industry’s biggest star, died today, October 29. He was admitted to a private hospital in Bengaluru just a few hours ago after suffering a huge heart attack while working out in the gym. The actor was being treated in the Intensive Care Unit, but sadly passed away just a few minutes after.

Despite the doctors best efforts, the actor did not survive, since he was in a critical stage, according to the medics. “At around 11 a.m., Puneeth Rajkumar had chest trouble,” doctor P Ranganath Nayak told the media outside the hospital. Before being admitted to the hospital, he went to another hospital for an ECG test. His health was being attentively monitored by a medical team of experts.” Raghavendra Rajkumar and Shivarajkumar, Puneeth Rajkumar’s brothers, were in frequent contact with doctors.

After receiving the news, Shivarajkumar’s daughter Niveditha and others of Rajkumar’s family hurried to the hospital. The hospital was also visited by Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, who is close to Rajkumar’s family.
