Rohit Shetty is ecstatic that Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi is finally coming to theatres after 19 months.
When Akshay Kumar joined Rohit Shetty’s cop universe for his forthcoming film Sooryavanshi, he created a lot of buzzes. The star is rumoured to be starring alongside Katrina Kaif in the film as the titular character. And, despite the fact that the film was meant to be released last year, it was postponed owing to the COVID 19 epidemic. Now that Sooryavanshi is due to debut on November 5th, Rohit can’t stop thinking about the cop drama starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif.
Rohit took to Instagram to share a photo with Akshay and Katrina, expressing his delight in the release of Sooryavanshi. The filmmaker wrote in the caption that he couldn’t be happier because his cop drama is only 10 days away from hitting theatres. “Holding everyone together for the past 19 months… I CAN FINALLY SAY 10 DAYS TO GO… SOORYAVANSHI RELEASING ON 5TH NOV.” Rohit wrote. SOORYAVANSHI COMES OUT ON THE 5TH OF NOV.” To be clear, Sooryavanshi was supposed to come out early this year, following the first wave of the COVID 19 pandemic. However, due to a huge increase in the number of cases, the film was once again postponed.
In his first cooperation with Rohit Shetty, Akshay Kumar will portray a courageous cop, and Sooryavanshi will also include Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh in cameo roles. They will reprise their roles as Bajirao Singham and Sangram Bhalerao, respectively. Meanwhile, the film’s first song, Aila Re Aillaa, was recently released and has proven to be a hit with the audience.
