Shane Warne, an ex-Australian spinner, has chosen his two favourites for the ICC T20 World Cup
Shane Warne, the legendary Australian leg-spinner, believes India and England are the favourites to win the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021, which is currently being held in the UAE and Oman. More teams, according to Warne, could pose a danger to the two teams named above. New Zealand, led by Kane Williamson, was also a team to watch, according to him, as they consistently performed well in ICC events. He also noted that the Australian side, which is widely regarded as outsiders, could surprise many by having a large number of match-winners in their ranks.
“I think Eng & India have to go in as fav’s for the T/20 WC. NZ always perform well in @ICC events too. But I have a feeling the Aussies are being underestimated as they have a lot of match-winners in their squad. Then you have Pakistan & the Wi. Excited to see who will win,” Warne tweeted.

India handily defeated England and Australia in their two warm-up games, prompting Warne’s comments.
India’s campaign will begin on October 24 against arch-rival Pakistan.
The outcome of that match might have a significant impact on the destiny of the two teams in Group 2 of the Super 12 stages, so both will be eager to get off to a good start.
