Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Neetu Kapoor, and Anil Kapoor rejoice as the film’s Jug Jugg Jeeyo wraps off
Jug Jugg Jeeyo has been the talk of the town when it first hit the screens. The family drama, starring Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Neetu Kapoor, and Anil Kapoor, has been in the works for quite some time. Choreographer Bosco Martis recently published a photo with the star cast, fueling rumours that Varun, Kiara, Neetu, and Anil were preparing to shoot a song. And now, as they get closer to wrapping the film, director Raj Mehta has released a rare photo.
Raj published a photograph of the complete Jug Jugg Jeeyo cast, including Varun, Kiara, Neetu, Anil, Maniesh Paul, and Prajakta Koli, on his Instagram account. During the film’s ongoing final schedule, the complete cast was seen posing together on the sets. When the director shared the shot, he became sentimental and reminisced about the “special” shoot with everyone. He penned, “As we slowly but gradually approach the end of the shoot, I’m reminded of what a “unique” experience producing this film has been. Only extraordinary artists like these could have made it possible!” Varun, Neetu, Maniesh, Prajakta, and Kiara were all moved by his note.
Varun responded in a humorous manner in his reply after seeing Raj’s tweet. “Thank you for realising this raj,” he wrote. He shared the photo on his Instagram storey and referred to the film’s crew as “family.” Varun and Neetu tested positive for COVID 19 during the filming of the film, which began in Chandigarh in 2020. The shoot was halted for a while before resuming in Mumbai. It’s now the final leg, and fans are looking forward to seeing them all together on the big screen.
Varun and Kiara play a married pair in Jug Jugg Jeeyo, and their first look piqued fans’ interest. It is yet to be given a release date and is backed by Karan Johar.
